Jason Kizlyk, Registered Nurse, is the owner/operator of Gold Standard Healthcare. Raised in a small farming community in rural Saskatchewan, Jason learned to appreciate some of the struggles that small-town hospitals deal with. He and his wife reside in Saskatoon. Jason obtained his BscN from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2007. He has been employed on Day Surgery, a Post-Anaesthetic Recovery Room, Emergency Room, and Orthopaedic Surgery units in multiple facilities.
More recently, Jason has been working as a travel nurse since 2009 and, at one point, held registration in all of the Prairie provinces simultaneously. In 2010, his agency, Gold Standard Healthcare Ltd. was established and continues to keep him and his employees busy with work throughout Northern Manitoba. Jason enjoys travel nursing because of the flexibility in choosing his own schedule, increased earnings, and the changing work environment.
